The mall has an astounding 1,300,000 square-feet of retail space and includes anchor stores like JCPenney, Macy’s, Seats, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. The mall serves as something of a town gathering place and hotspot, attracting more than seven million visitors annually. There are plenty of stops in the food court to curb your hunger, like at one of the fast food joints of at one of the sit down restaurants like Red Robin, Red Lobster, or Applebees. The mall is easily located off of I-29, making it a convenient stop for travelers and tourists.

Residents from across western South Dakota, Wyoming, and Nebraska head to the Uptown Rapid for the best shopping experience in the tri-state area! Whether watching a movie at the AMC, shopping at one of the many boutiques, chowing down on a huge variety of food court grub, do some errands at the DMV, or relax at the Dead Sea Spa, there is truly something for everyone at this shopping mall! Uptown Rapid was opened back in 1978 and has been a staple of the community ever since. The mall has a large variety of stores and anchor stores like JCPenney, Herberger’s, and At Home.

Sioux Falls has no shortage of great malls, and The Western Mall is no exception! This sprawling and spacious mall has a movie theater, Sheels, Best Buy, salons, furniture stores, clothing and apparel stores, a fabric shop, and both locally owned and fast food chain restaurants. One of the mall’s main draws is the West Mall 7 Theaters, a clean and affordable cinema experience with all the latest Hollywood flicks.
A fairly recent addition to the city, Rushmore Crossing is an incredibly popular outlet mall that has quickly become one of the best shopping experiences in the area. The outlet includes department stores like Target and Gordmans, specialty apparel, jewelers, shoe stores, health and beauty, sporting goods like Scheel’s, and plenty of restaurants.
