Holiday Express at 1880 Train

Ride The 1880 Train:
Welcome to the Black Hills Central Railroad 1880 Train! We are located in Hill City and Keystone, South Dakota, the heart of the beautiful Black Hills.

This unique, wintertime train adventure features an hour-long train ride from Hill City to the North Pole and back. During the trip the North Pole passengers will receive a Hot Chocolate and a sugar cookie from Santa’s Elves. Look for Santa Claus as we arrive at the North Pole Village. We will pause long enough at the North Pole for Santa to climb aboard and then we will head back to Hill City. On the return trip, Santa will visit all families and guests. Upgrade your experience with either First Class or adults-only (21+) Spiked! options. Santa will have gone fishing after Christmas Day, but we have added additional rides on December 27th and 28th for anyone who couldn’t catch a train before.
