OverTime Sports Grill & Bar, Sioux Falls, SD

Overtime Sports Grill and Bar is the best place in town for winding down, drinking a beer, and catching the game, all with the option of ordering some delicious bar food off the menu. But if simple pub grub isn’t enough, try your hand at the Monster Nacho Challenge in which customers are served one pound of chips, one pound of beef, one pound of waffle fries, one pound of cheese, and four ounces each of jalapenos, black olives, tomatoes, and onions. For brave and hungry souls who can finish the plate within 45 minutes, the reward is a free meal and a spot on the wall of fame. Can you tame the nacho beast?

Not only that, make sure to try something from their full menu which offers favorites like a huge variety of appetizers, burgers, wraps, salads, pastas, and steaks. If that isn’t enough grub, try your hand at the Rock Bottom Burger Challenge in which you’ll be served a monster burger with three pounds of angus beef, five slices of cheese, fried eggs, sautéed onions, mushrooms, pulled pork, and homemade coleslaw, all seasoned with their secret sauce. It doesn’t end there, however! The burger is served with one pound of fries as well as a 22-ounce beverage. If you finish it within 30 minutes, the meal is free and a plaque with your name on it is added to their wall!

Sugar Daddy’s Sports Bar & Grill, North Sioux City, SD

In the North end of Sioux City, you’ll find this local hangout that also happens to serve up delicious burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, and more. With all the burgers on the menu, there’s nothing that will be calling your name like the Grand Slam Challenge. You have 22 minutes to finish six burger patties—making up three pounds of burger-- topped with cheese, bacon, onions, lettuce tomato, pickles, all smothered in barbecue sauce. Don’t forget to finish the full order of chili cheese fries that comes with it! If you complete this daunting task, you get the meal paid for, as well as a t-shirt and your picture on the hall of fame.

Boss’ Pizza & Chicken, Multiple locations

Great challenges bring you great rewards, and that is absolutely the case at Boss' Pizza & Chicken. With one partner, or by yourself “if you’re really brave,” you are to finish ‘The Boss HOG Challenge’ in an hour or less which consists of a 28-inch pizza with two meaty toppings, and another meatless topping. Seems like a piece of cake? You’ll find yourself whimpering when you hear that you’re not allowed a bathroom break or the ability to leave the table for the duration of the challenge. When you finish every last slice, you are rewarded with your bill paid as well as $200 gift certificates to the restaurant. Don’t let down the Boss!
